Barns have character that new buildings can’t match. We convert agricultural buildings into family homes, holiday lets, and rural office or studio space, respecting the building’s setting. Groundworks, drainage and utility connections are often a major part of the job — and they are core services for us.

An annexe lets family stay close while everyone keeps their independence. We convert outbuildings, garages and parts of the home into self-contained space with a bedroom, shower room and kitchenette — ideal for elderly parents, adult children or guests — with accessible layouts built in where needed.

• Barn conversions need planning permission or prior approval, and full building regulations approval
• A structural survey is essential before pricing — we will advise what is needed
• Annexes used as part of the main household are treated differently in planning terms from separate dwellings — we will explain what applies
